“In 2024, the California legislature passed SB 1221 (Min), requiring the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to establish a voluntary zonal decarbonization program and designate priority neighborhood decarbonization zones. Decarbonization zones will be geographic areas where the CPUC may authorize projects facilitating the transition of some customers’ natural gas service to cost-effective, zero-emission alternatives. The voluntary zonal decarbonization program will establish procedures and requirements for these projects. Zero-emission alternatives are ways of providing gas customers with suitable substitute energy service that does not require new investment in gas distribution lines, such as, but not limited to, electrification.”
About an hour after your sustk email got an email about the CA thing, but had very little info. So looked it up. Have not done much research. Some time back heard CA was headed towards something like this.
This is about biofuels I suspect - BC gov in Canada did this almost one year ago... At first they will use a portion of our gas supply that we buy from biofuels and incrementally increase the biofuel source until that is all that is being used.
While Canada is a good indicator, California has been pushing to eliminate natural gas home appliances like stoves and home heaters. Calif has new building requirements that eliminate natural gas and all new building needs to be all electric. Have used both gas stoves and electric, electric stoves SUCK, especially the stove top. Gas stove tops are far, far better.
Time to drag those mafia criminals out of their homes and hang them from the nearest tree. The only way they are going to get the message that we are fed up with this idiocy is when their organs are hanging from a branch for the entire world to see. I have clairvoyant abilities and have been trying to figure it out for some time. It also seems I am spiritually protected. I went to se an energy healer and she had me lay on a bed. After a few minutes, she asked me if I feel safe even in times of danger to which I replied yes. She said it seems you have a golden armour of energy around your soul and you seem to have kind loving protective beings keeping you safe. Trying to wrap my head around this crazy reality but do know I was made for this time and here to do some good, whatever that may be, fate will lead me there.
Why aren’t the hotel, tourism, restaurant and leisure service companies raising hell about this BS? Limiting peasant travel will hit those services in the ass. They need to organize like the farmers in Netherlands and start staging walkouts and closures now before it’s too late. Airlines are OK with this?
