I wonder how many residents on that nice street wondered wth is all over their vehicles/house windows, etc? Spraying the streets and sidewalks with poisons is a great way to eradicate pets going on walkies and tracking the poisons into your house via your shoes. I wonder what an alternative to the spraying would be? The mosquitos in Michigan are horrendous if not sprayed. Nobody would be outside if areas were not sprayed. But they told us it was perfectly safe when we caught them treating the ditches...we are in the country. I see now that these chemicals are not safe at all.
When mosquitoes are active, and I have to be outside, I’m lathered up with eucalyptus and lavender and lemon oil. I put it on my neck and my inner arms and legs and ankles.
If you’re brave, you could go for something stronger like Teatree oil.
Otherwise, you get those Lamps or stay inside during the worst hours.
The chemicals are terrible for bees, which impacts our food.
They’re terrible for aquatic life, and humans.
